Madrid - Top Of Deloitte Money League
Real Madrid Still on top of the Deloitte Money League
The first Premier League title for the City and their participation in the Champions League has helped them climb five ranking in Deloitte's annual survey for 20 clubs sepakbole highest income, making half of the top 10 clubs are from the UK.
Madrid has become the club's biggest income for eight consecutive years with a revenue of 513 million euros, or about 431 million pounds. This Spanish club snatch the top spot from Manchester United in the 2003-04 season and continued to persist in the same position today.
Newcastle United is a new member of the 20 clubs in this list. They shift the position of Valencia. The collective power of the Premier League, where profit sharing broadcast rights more evenly distributed than in the Spanish league, reflected by the presence of seven teams in the top league and twenty four other teams (Everton, Aston Villa, Fulham and Sunderland) are not far below Newcastle.
Deloitte positioned football clubs based on the income they generate on matchday, advertising, and revenue from the media, but do not count the profitability and debt held by the club. Deloitte announced that Real Madrid became the first club to successfully crossed the threshold income of 500 million euros in the period of one year.
Largely unchanged sixth composition for six years. Emphasize that clubs can improve their commercial income to overseas.
"They are the club with the biggest fan base, both at their home or outside the country," said Adam Bull, senior consultant at Deloitte's Sports Business Group. "They continue to attract the largest commercial agreements and generate the highest profits matchday."
But he also said that Chelsea's failure to penetrate the big four despite winning the Champions League showed their inability to increase matchday revenue with a capacity of Stamford Bridge is relatively small.
Deloitte report shows revenue continues growing wealthy European clubs this continent despite the economic recession. This can be achieved due to increased commercial agreements and increased revenues from the television. Bull said that the club was ranked kept away from the big four clubs beneath it in terms of revenue. Madrid two times annual revenues greater than Milan, which is ranked eighth.
Overall, the combined profits of the 20 clubs rose 10% to 4.8 billion euros during the 2011-12 season and a total of four times that of the 1996-97 season when Deloitte first issued this list.
However, a comparison of the UEFA report will likely show the reverse side. UEFA stated that the increase in income was accompanied by an increase in expenses caused by inflation is outpacing wage earning many clubs.
UEFA President Michel Platini hopes, Financial Fair Play regulations introduced last season that limits losses to the limit of the club 45 million euros over three years to reduce the amount of debt the club.
But some concern that it may reduce the level of competition by making clubs already make a lot of money the further left they were not very successful.
The German Football Association on Wednesday claimed that the Bundesliga is one of the league's most sustainable in Europe. Eighteenth clubs involved recorded a combined turnover of 2.8 billion in the 2011-12 season, 7% higher than the previous season, with 14 of 18 clubs making a profit.
"Bundesliga ready to undergo the challenges to come," said DFL CEO Christian Seifert. "The foundation for the success of this is common sense financially as well as targeted investments in efficiency and sports infrastructure."
